Welcome to sinks-taps.com and thank you for visiting us. We specialise in providing excellent quality kitchen sinks and kitchen taps, as well as a number of other associated products such as waste disposal units and bathroom sinks, taps and showers.  

Before purchasing any of our online products, we would encourage you to read the following terms and conditions.

Our website is used to advertise our products and services to you and other potential customers. By using our website, you agree to these terms and conditions, and, in return, we will provide you with access. From time to time, we may modify these conditions. Please check the conditions of use whenever accessing or using our website. If, at any time, you do not accept these conditions, then you may not use or access it.


No Reliance
We do take steps to ensure the information on our website is accurate. However, we cannot guarantee or give any warranty as to its accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any information or material appearing on it. In particular, dimensions and product templates, including cutting sizes, should be used as a guide only.  Manufacturers may change specification without notice and, therefore, you should check the actual product purchased before fabricating any worktops or furniture, etc.  It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the product received is checked before installation and, if needed, returned for a refund or exchange if it varies from the information shown at the point of purchase (return carriage costs will apply).

Remedies
Our rights and remedies under these conditions are cumulative and are not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by law or contract.


Waiver
No waiver by us of any breach of these conditions shall constitute a waiver of any other breach. No failure by us to exercise any remedy shall constitute a waiver of the right subsequently to exercise that or any other remedy.

Products

The products we advertise on our website are intended for purchase and use in mainland UK only. We cannot confirm that the products will comply with any laws, regulations or other standards applicable outside of mainland UK. Product guarantees and warranties are not applicable outside of mainland UK, unless it is specifically stated on the product at the point of ordering.

All of the products we sell are sold in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. We cannot be held responsible for any misrepresentation of products by the manufacturers and associated third parties. Due to variations in products and methods of installations, it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the products they are purchasing are suitable for their exact requirements. We recommend you consult your installer before purchasing a product.  We cannot be held liable if the product purchased is unsuitable for your installation. In this case, you have 14 days to return the product for a refund (subject to returns criteria).

The actual colour, appearance and description of products may differ from what is shown on our website and sizes quoted are an approximate guide only. We advise you to not make alterations to your worktop or units etc until you have received the product, as dimensions of products may vary from what is stated on our site. We cannot be held responsible for any costs you incur for errors stated on our website.

Clearance Products

Some of the products we advertise on our website are discontinued products, from ex-displays or have a slight imperfection. These products are highlighted in the ‘Clearance’ section of our website and will state clearly any imperfections. Clearance products with imperfections and/or damage are not covered by a warranty and are 'bought as seen'.

Price

The prices we advertise on our website are correct at the time of posting. However, delivery charges may apply in addition to the advertised prices.  Our website states prices in Pounds Sterling (£) and is the currency we will charge your card.  We reserve the right to amend prices when necessary, at which point the new prices will apply from thereon in. Occasionally, an error may occur and products may be incorrectly priced. In this circumstance, we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price.

Promotional Prices

Promotional prices, including sale prices, discounts and offers must be stated, where necessary, at the point of order; otherwise you may be charged the full price.

Price match guarantee

We offer around 13,000 products and aim to offer you the very best in value. If you find a like for like product cheaper elsewhere, we will attempt to match it. This is at the manager’s discretion and their decision is final. We do not offer a price match guarantee on all brands and. therefore, you should contact us to discuss the possibility before placing your order online.

VAT

The prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate. Our VAT number is 155147808.

All customers will be charged VAT at the prevailing rate. For European Countries (EC), including the Republic of Ireland (ROI), if you are VAT registered, then you may be entitled to a VAT refund. You will need to send us your VAT registration number and proof of shipment (if arranged by yourself).

For EC countries that are VAT exempt, (including the Channel Islands and Switzerland), and non ECs (see current list available on HMRC), only proof of shipment is required.  In any case, it is your responsibility to request a VAT refund once you have received your order.

Payment

We accept payment from Visa and MasterCard credit cards and Maestro, Delta and Visa Electron debit cards. We do not accept American Express. Your statement will show that payment has been taken by KAD Group Limited.  When you have completed your order, either online or by telephone, we will deduct this from your chosen credit/debit card with the full amount of your order.

Delivery

The cost of delivery varies depending on the products you are ordering and the location of the delivery address. Delivery starts at just £6.95 for small/light items (order values under £50) such as stainless steel sinks and taps. A surcharge may be applicable for delivery outside of the UK Mainland.

Where a delivery fails due to an inaccurate or incomplete address being provided, the customer will be liable for any additional charges imposed by the carrier. If the customer changes the delivery date or delivery address directly with the carrier, the customer will be liable for any charges imposed by the carrier, including where delivery fails due to inaccurate or incomplete information being provided. 

If the customer is unable to sign for/accept their delivery and gives instructions for a parcel to be left, including with a neighbour, the customer is liable for any costs incurred if the parcel is lost or damaged, or the subsequent delivery is unsuccessful. This includes where instructions have been given via courier apps. DPD do not guarantee delivery on the date requested, nor do they guarantee that any instructions provided can be or will be followed.

KAD Group Ltd are bound by DPD's Standard Terms and Conditions, DPD's App Shipping Terms and Conditions and DPD's Classic Terms and Conditions.

Any charges imposed by the carrier for any changes made directly between the customer and the carrier will be payable by the customer, whether or not the customer was aware of the charges incurred.

For large/heavy/fragile items, delivery starts at just £19.95 (order values under £50). Products in this category will be despatched using a specialist Pallet Delivery Service, rather than an independent courier. A surcharge may be applicable for deliveries of this type of product outside of the UK Mainland. Estimated delivery lead times can be found on all product pages on our website. Please ensure you check this before ordering.  If you select SUPER SAVER DELIVERY, we aim to deliver in-stock products within an average of 3-5 working days. Deliveries to Scotland are estimated between 5-7 days.

For pallet deliveries to non-mainland locations, the delivery charge will be to a dedicated shipping agent and does not include any costs for its forward journey. You will need to cover any additional delivery charges from the mainland location. If you would like a delivery cost for delivery to your door, please conact us befor placing your order.

Small/Light Product Delivery

For the majority of taps, waste disposal units and small stainless steel sinks, we use a variety of national courier companies. Products of this nature are estimated to be delivered within 2-5 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product information page on our website.

When you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email which will fully detail your order. When the order is dispatched either ourselves or the courier will send a second email or text message informing you of the pending delivery.

Most small couriers will attempt up to two deliveries without any additional charge. If, however, they are still unable to deliver, the parcel will be returned to us and a return courier charge will be payable of between £30.00 - £40.00 depending on parcel size and location (Additional charges will be payable for the item to be sent back out for delivery). Alternatively, you can contact the courier and may be able to arrange to collect the item from their local depot. For products delivered by courier, we allow 24 hours in which products should be thoroughly checked for damages or missing parts. If there are any concerns, you must notify the Customer Service team immediately.

Please Note: If you require the parcel to be left somewhere you MUST instruct DPD through their text message/App.  We cannot accept instruction from you as you have to submit the request directly to the courier.  This also means you are taking full responsibility for the parcel and its safety.  If the parcel is stolen or goes missing once they have followed your instruction, you will be soley responsible and will have to cover the full cost of a replacement.  We recommend you have someone available to accept the delivery at the original address given on your order. 

 

Large/Heavy/Fragile Product Delivery

For the majority of our granite sinks, ceramic sinks, bathroom suites and appliances, we use a Pallet Delivery Service to deliver the goods. Products of this nature are not applicable for Saturday delivery and are estimated to be delivered within an average of 3-5 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product information page on our website or if you have selected a specific day for delivery.

When ordering a larger product, such as a granite or ceramic sink, we will advise you by email of an exact delivery date two working days before delivery (unless a specific date has been requested) and provide, where possible, an expected delivery time on the morning of delivery, if requested. Any additional contact details or delivery information required must be provided before the goods have been despatched. On arrival, the delivery driver will wait a maximum of 15 minutes for you to fully inspect the goods for any signs of transit damage. It is your responsibility to ensure the items are inspected fully before signing the delivery documentation. Please note the driver may not ask for a signature due to current health and safety restrictions - by accepting the delivery you are confirming that the goods have been inspected and delivered undamaged.

The driver is only responsible for getting the product to your address and not for making sure you inspect the goods.  A re-delivery charge of £39.00 will be payable if the initial delivery fails (this is only if you are not there to accept the delivery at the pre-arranged day). 

If a product appears to be faulty or damaged, then you must inform our Customer Service team immediately (if the delivery is outside normal working hours, then we recommend you refuse the damaged product and ensure you do not sign the driver's paperwork). If a product is accepted/signed for by you or on your behalf, we cannot accept any claim for faulty or damaged goods reported afterwards. It is your responsibility to check the goods thoroughly before signing for the delivery. We will not accept any claims once a delivery note has been signed or a delivery accepted. We strongly advise ceramic or granite products to be inspected carefully and signed for/acccepted by you on delivery, rather than a third party.

In some exceptional circumstances the product may have been left at your property.  If this is the case, you must open and inspect the product immediatley and report any damages or shortages directly to us.  We are not able to accept any claims of damage or shortage after a maximum time period of 48hrs.  It is essential for fragile products such as glass screens, ceramic sinks and pottery to be carefully checked as these items can be damaged easily, once moved or whilst being stored on site.  We recommend the item is carefully and fully removed from the packaging to ensure it is in perfect condition.

Defective or Incorrect Goods

Once DPD or similar small parcel courier has delivered to you, if you find your goods are damaged or not what you ordered, you must notify the Customer Service team within 24 hours of delivery. If you do not notify us of the problem within this timescale, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods and we will not be liable for having supplied the incorrect product or for any damage of defect.

With a defective product, the Customer Service team will request photographic evidence. Once received and approved, we will arrange for a collection and delivery of a replacement, at our expense. If photographic evidence is not available, we will request for payment details to be held against the account and arrange a collection and delivery of a replacement at our expense. If collection of the faulty product is not made available within a maximum of 14 days, a replacement invoice maybe issued.  It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the product is kept in reasonable condition and that all items supplied with the product (such as accessories) are returned at the same time.  In extreme circumstances or where it is not finacially viable to collect the faulty product, our Customer service team will provide written instruction for you to be able to dispose of the product.  Subject to courier services in your area and seasonal periods, the timeframe for arranging collections can vary.

If for any reason a product is not available for collection, the customer will be responsible for covering the full cost of that item along with any associated administration or courier charges. Products that have been lost by the customer, tradespeople or anyone else will still render the customer liable to cover the full cost of the item/s. Any product/s that have been purposely or accidentally disposed off without prior written consent, will be charged at the full rate.   

All goods returned, claiming to be defective, will be inspected by our experienced staff. If it passes our inspection process, you will be charged the collection fee with the payment details previously provided.

If a replacement product or suitable alternative is not available, we will refund you the cost.

Availability

All items are subject to availability and any stock levels shown on the website are applicable to single items only. Any quantities more than one should be checked before the order is placed. We can only guarantee availability while stocks last. If the goods ordered are unavailable, we will advise you of an expected delivery date by email. If you are unhappy with the expected delivery date, we can offer alternative products of equivalent quality and price. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated. However, delays in delivery of goods are sometimes out of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of goods are approximate and we will not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

You should not arrange for any products to be fitted before receiving and checking the goods.

Collections

If 'click and collect' has been selected at the checkout, a member of our Customer Service team will be in touch as soon as the goods have been checked and inspected.  We do not recommend you make any journey to our depot until such time as we can confirm the goods are ready for you.

Changes to Your Order (Excludes Special Order Items)

After placing your order, you have the right to make any changes to the products you order. Please be aware that any changes made may be subject to additional delivery charges and potential delivery delays. We also reserve the right to charge a £10 administration fee to cover the costs of retrieving the order from our automated system and manually adjusting the order.

Cancelling Your Order (Excludes Special Order Items)*

On all orders, you have the right to cancel your order before despatch. Your cancellation will be processed with immediate effect. To cancel an order before despatch, please simply contact us via email at enquiries@kad-group.co.uk or by telephone on 01759 307262.  We will arrange for a full refund to be credited within 30 days.

Cancelling or Changing your order for Special Order Items

Any product which is shown as Special Order or is non-standard, made to order or modified in any way is not covered by the standard cancellation/returns policy.  For example: special finish kitchen taps (such as brass, copper, karbon, etc), special colour sinks (such as ebony, sand, fossil, etc) or modified sinks (such as tap holes being drilled or knocked out).  These items cannot be cancelled once the order process has been started.  On very rare occasions, we may be able to find another customer who requires the exact same product with the same modifications. However, due to the variation in options, it is unlikely we will be able to find a suitable customer and, therefore, a cancellation, return or exchange will not be possible.

For orders to be cancelled after they have been despatched, please follow our returns policy below. This does not include Special Order items, as detailed above.

Returns Policy (Excludes Special Order Items)

For orders cancelled after the goods have been despatched, you have the right to return an item at any time up to 14 calendar days (including weekends) after we have delivered the goods to you (excludes 'trade' sales to a registered Company). Products that have been modified in any way will be excluded from our 14 day returns policy.  The return of special order products, special tap finishes or products that have been modified in any way are not covered by the 14 day returns policy. If in doubt, please contact a member of our Customer Service team on 01759 307262 before placing your order.

To return a product, please ensure you speak to a member of our Customer Service team prior to sending your product back to us. Larger, heavy items should be ideally returned on a pallet service to reduce the risk of damage in transit.

After speaking to our Customer Service team, you will be given a returns number and a returns address. This information needs to be used on the returns form to accompany your returned item/s. You can download a returns form using the link at the bottom of this page. Please be aware, if you neglect to enclose a returns form, you may incur an administration fee of up to 25% of the price of the returned item.

When returning a product, we ask that the products are unused, undamaged, complete and in their original packaging. Please do not write or stick labels directly on the product box as the item will need to be resold. A protective bag or box should be used. If the outer box is returned in a condition that is unsuitable for resale, you will be responsible for covering the cost of replacement packaging.

We require you to return them to us at your own expense. You should also ensure that all items are fully insured for loss or damage and that they are protected adequately and in line with any requirements of the carrier being used.

If returned to us by a third party, you will be responsible for any damages occurred in transit. If products are returned damaged or have any missing parts, we cannot offer any refund and you will be required to arrange for the goods to be collected from the address the goods were returned to. We will retain such items for a maximum of 30 days and, if they are not collected within this time, they will be discarded.

With all products returned, the total amount to be refunded will be the price paid less any initial delivery charges that have been charged. We will arrange for your refund to be processed within 30 days of the date the parcel is returned to our depot.

Returns Policy for Trade Sales

All trade sales are excluded from our 14 day returns policy.  Any order which is placed and includes the name of a business will be classed as a trade sale and not a sale of an individual/retail customer. In most cases, we will not be able to accept an item for return.  However, depending on the actual product and the timescale involved, we may be able to accept an exchange with a minimum 25% re-stocking charge.  The customer will be responsible for the return of the original order.

Product Guarantees

Manufacturer’s guarantees are advertised by product and vary across our website. Clearance products with imperfections and/or damage are exempt from any warranty.

Voucher Codes & Reviews

Voucher code promotions are subject to change without prior notice.  We also reservce the right to exclude products from the voucher code offer and, therefore, not all products within our range will be available for use with a voucher code.  External third party voucher code websites may display out of date voucher codes or voucher codes that are not genuine.  We are not liable for any voucher code that is promoted or displayed anywhere other that the sinks-taps.com website or other sinks-taps.com owned social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. Voucher codes are only available at the time of placing the order (either online or by phone). We are unable to offer a voucher code on an existing order, once payment has been made.

In order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction we automatically send out a review request to obtain your feedback on our products and service.  This request will be emailed to you from reviews.co.uk after approximately 2 weeks from the date of purchase.  They are totally independant and your honest review would be welcomed.  If you do not wish to receive a review request, please contact us before purchasing on 01759 307262, we can then take your details out of the review request process.  If you have already received a request to review and want your details removed, please contact them direct through their website -  www.reviews.co.uk.
