Sinks-Taps.com goes social on twitter and blogger

UK’s largest online retailer of kitchen sinks and taps has launched its social media activities with the introduction of its own blog and twitter feed.

Not accustomed to taking the back seat, the online retailer strives to lead by providing customers with interactive tools that personalises the whole shopping experience at sinks-taps.com.

The blog, which is available to view without registration at http://sinkstaps.blogspot.com/, will be home to articles, news stories and guides to choosing the rights sinks and taps. The twitter account, which is also viewable without registration, http://twitter.com/SinksdashTaps will be home to daily offers, links and information.

The Marketing Manger for the company said’ “These tools are additional ways to speak to our customers.

“Although we are Internet based, it does not mean we do not want to talk and interact with people. These tools will hopefully show everyone that we want to be in touch with them.

Sinks-taps.com is one of the limited online retailers in the industry to focus so highly on communication.

“We actively promote our contact telephone number, email addresses and postal address so visitors can communicate with us if they choose to. Our blog and twitter accounts will allow us to communicate with a wider range of people who might never have heard of us.

The sinks-taps twitter account and blog are additions to the ongoing development of communication tools, after the launch of the online live chat facility which was introduced in November 2009.
