DELIVERIES
Delivery is to mainland UK only.(unless organised by phone prior to the
order being placed)
Delivery, Inspection & Packaging starts at just £4.99 per order.
Most items such as stainless steel sinks, accessories, taps and waste disposal
units will be inspected, double boxed and delivered for just £4.99. Any item
which is bulky, heavy or fragile will be delivered using our own dedicated home
delivery service. There is a one off surcharge which is calculated dependant on
the distance from our main depot in Leeds.
The home delivery surcharge starts at £9.99 per order. The service we offer is
unique and guarantees you goods will be delivered to your door in perfect
condition.
An exact delivery cost can be found be entering your postcode into the shopping
basket.
Most items are dispatched to the customer within 3-7 working days of the order
being received.
We open and inspect almost every product for any signs of damage and then add
additional packaging, where necessary, to ensure it travels to its' destination
undamaged, (in most cases we will also 'double-box' the product). This level of
service is unique to sinks-taps.com and confirms our commitment to delivering a
high level of customer satisfaction.
Where a product is not in stock or is on an extended delivery period, we will
email you to advise on an anticipated delivery date.
The majority of our smaller parcel deliveries are handled by Parcelforce or
City-Link. After placing your order, you will receive confirmation by email,
which will fully detail your order. When the order is being dispatched, you
will receive a second email informing you of the pending delivery. Both
Carriers will attempt two deliveries without any additional charge. If,
however, a third attempt is required, £7.99 will be charged. Alternatively, you
can contact the Carrier and arrange to collect the item from the Carrier's
local depot.
Where fragile or large bulky items are being delivered, we will arrange an
agreeable delivery date, using our home delivery service. On arrival, fragile
goods will be unwrapped and inspected carefully by our driver for any signs of
damage. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the items are inspected
fully before signing the delivery documentation. A re-delivery charge of £35.00
will be payable if the initial delivery fails, due to the customer not being
available at the pre-arranged time.
We do not make overseas deliveries, unless organised by phone before the order
is placed.
Delivery quoted is to any single UK mainland address only - using a one man
delivery to ground floor locations only.
We pride ourselves on offering excellent value for money, whilst maintaining a
high level of service. However, if you have any issues regarding delivery,

AVAILABILITY
All items are subject to availability. We can only guarantee availability whilst
stocks last. If the goods ordered are unavailable, we will contact you with
suggestions of goods of equivalent quality and price. We will endeavour to
deliver goods within the times stated, but goods are subject to availability
and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes out of our control. Any dates we
specify for the delivery of goods are approximate and we shall not be liable
for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for
delivery of the goods. You should NOT arrange fitting any products before
receiving and checking the goods.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS INFORMATION
You may withdraw from this agreement at any time up to 10 days after we have
delivered the goods to you. If we have delivered the goods, you must not have
used them and must have kept them in the condition they were delivered. You
must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your
cost.
The goods must be returned to us in perfect condition, with the original
undamaged packaging. If any damages occur during transit the customer is
responsible in full and a refund will not be given. The total amount to be
refunded will be the price paid less any delivery charges.
If you wish to return the goods more than 10 days after we have delivered the
goods to you, you must not have used them and must have kept them in the
condition they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to
collect them, in either case, at your cost. There will be an additional
administration charge of 25% of the purchase price of the goods returned.
We will reimburse any amounts you have paid to us within 30 days of return of
the goods, having deducted any return costs and administration fee if
applicable.
This guarantee is in addition to any warranties or conditions implied by law and
nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
*ON ALL HOME DELIVERIES ALL ITEMS MUST BE CHECKED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY TO
ENSURE THEY ARE NOT FAULTY OR DAMAGED. IF THEY APPEAR TO BE FAULTY OR DAMAGED,
THEN YOU MUST REFUSE THE COMPLETE DELIVERY AND INFORM OUR CUSTOMER SERVICES
DEPARTMENT IMMEDIATELY. IF A PRODUCT IS ACCEPTED BY THE CUSTOMER AND SIGNED FOR
AS BEING IN PERFECT CONDITION, WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY CLAIM FOR FAULTY OR DAMAGED
GOODS THEREAFTER. IT IS THE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO CHECK THE
GOODS THOROUGHLY BEFORE SIGNING THE DELIVERY DOCUMENTATION. IF YOU DECIDE TO
ACCEPT GOODS WITHOUT INSPECTING THEM, YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY CLAIMS ONCE A DELIVERY NOTE HAS BEEN SIGNED OR A DELIVERY
HAS BEEN COMPLETED AS THE CUSTOMER HAS INSTRUCTED
*These terms do not apply to small 'Parcel Carrier' Companies such as City-Link
and Parcelforce.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE CERAMIC OR GRANITE PRODUCTS BE INSPECTED AND SIGNED FOR BY THE
CUSTOMER ON DELIVERY
If an item has any faults or manufacturing defects it will be collected,
repaired or replaced at our expense
OBTAINING A RETURNS FORM / NUMBER
Any returned item/s must be accompanied by a completed returns form. This can be
downloaded using the link at the bottom of this page. You must also obtain a
returns number by emailing returnnumber@sinks-taps.com
You must then send the completed form with your returned item/s. Failure to do
this could result in a 25% administration fee being charged.
